This has been revealed by the audiences watchdog, the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC) television agency, which monitors the audience.

Due to BARC data, Dainik Bhaskar said on Monday that Modi was shown to the news channels for more than 722 hours.  At the same time, Congress President Rahul Gandhi received very little time of 252 hours.

Between April 1 and 28, the Congress president made a total of 65 'rallies', one more than Prime Minister Modi.  But in spite of this, Modi is far ahead of Rahul on TV.

Similarly, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah got 124 hours on TV, while Congress party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra gave only 84 hours of time to the news channels.

The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has given about 85 hours of TV channels.

TV channels gave more time to Prime Minister Modi due to the Targeting Rating Point (TRP).
