New Delhi: A 20-year-old widow set herself on fire after being repeatedly gang-raped and exploited by her 'keeper'.  The shocking incident is from the Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh.

  According to the Times of India report, women now have 80% burns in a Delhi hospital.  The victim burned herself last month.

  After the death of her husband, the woman was later sold to her father and aunt for Rs 10,000.  The woman was repeatedly harassed and raped by the person who 'bought' him.  According to the report, the accused took loans from friends to 'buy' the victim.  He sent the woman to work as a domestic help to her friends, where she was raped again and harassed.

  When the victim tried to contact the police for help, then the police reportedly left her.  A video of the woman is now becoming viral where she can be seen arguing that the police did not take any action against the culprits and after taking the money, the matter was turned aside.

  An FIR has been registered against 14 people under various sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC).  Hapud's Superintendent of Police Yashvir Singh said that the police has started investigating the matter.  Set, "report has been written in reference to Rajesh Kumar Bharti, station house officer of Babujarh police station.

  Meanwhile, Delhi Women Commission (DCW) has lifted the case of the woman and wrote a letter to UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath seeking compensation and justice for the victim.
